Dear Authors, Reviewers, and Readers,
To maximize the global reach, visibility, and impact of your research, SEAGS Journal is officially transitioning to a Fully Open Access publishing model starting September 1, 2026. Under this model, all published manuscripts will be made immediately and permanently accessible to the global community, free of charge, for reading, downloading, and distribution.
Along with this transition, we have optimized our editorial workflows, review timelines, and reviewer incentive structures to better serve our academic community.
Key Updates & Guidelines
- Editorial Review & Peer Evaluation
- Plagiarism Threshold: Manuscripts exceeding a 25% plagiarism index will be automatically rejected during the initial screening phase.
- Rapid Revision Cycles: Authors and reviewers are allocated a strict 7-day window to complete corrections and re-evaluations.
- Reviewer Assessment & Rewards
We appreciate that your participation depends entirely on your availability. Reviewer timelines and token rewards are structured as follows:
- Review Window: Assigned experts are requested to submit their evaluations within a standard 21-day (3-week) period.
- Reviewer Tokens:
- 60 tokens are awarded if the review is completed within the 3-week window.
- 30 tokens are given for reviews completed after the 3-week window.
- Free Publication Milestone: Accumulating 600 tokens entitles the reviewer to one free publication in the journal.
- Publishing Timeframes & Fees
- Open Access Fee (APC): All accepted manuscripts published on or after September 1, 2026, are subject to a $600 USD Article Processing Charge (Please note that an APC will apply to all manuscripts submitted on or after 1 September 2026).
- Payment Terms: Payment is accepted via bank transfer only. All transaction fees are excluded from the APC, and authors are responsible for covering these costs to ensure the journal receives the full amount.
- Final Publishing Window: Once a paper is accepted, final online publication is guaranteed within 14 days.
Thank you for your continued dedication and collaboration as we move forward into this exciting new chapter of open science.
Sincerely,
The Editorial Team
